A chef’s kitchen with plenty of room complete with scullery adjacent to the dining room with a panoramic view of the rear. You’ll also find a powder room, mudroom, and home office on the main floor. Owner’s suite has veranda access and plenty of windows to take in the view of the rear along with a spacious walk-in closet, sumptuous master bath that features a soaking tub and expansive shower. This house plan also includes an upper-level office that could be converted to another room and three more bedrooms and three bathrooms. Can I make modifications to a house plan?

This is the most common question we receive, and the answer is yes! All house plans are modifiable and can be achieved by adjusting the existing design. Some common plan modifications include elevation changes, adding a basement, or widening a room. No matter the redesign our team of skilled house plan designers can assist you!

Modifications may cost $50 and more depending on the complexity of the change but represent huge savings over creating a new plan from scratch.

Can I reverse a house plan?

Yes! Reversing or “flipping” a house plan can eliminate costly mistakes down the road, and is a service Elite Design Group offers for most designs. There are two types of reverse options available:

Option 1) Mirror Reverse – This is when we reverse the plan layout without changing any of the text or dimensions.
Option 2) Right-Reading Reverse – This is when we reverse the plan but physically change all the wording, dimensions and text to read legibly.
