The Best of the Lake design competition award ceremony was once again hosted by The Lake Norman Home Builders Association. It is one of the most prestigious award events in the Lake Norman and Charlotte, NC region. The Best of the Lake Design Competition was created for:
- Builders, Architects, Residential Designers, and Craftsman to showcase their talents in quality design and construction.
- Vendors, suppliers, associates, landscapers, realtors, media and advertising professionals and many other professionals that serve the homebuilding industry.
The culmination of this event was the annual awards gala, Lake Norman HBA’s most anticipated event, where all the winners were announced. Winners of the Best of the Lake Design Competition were featured in a local Lake Norman magazine.
Elite Design Group proudly accepted the following awards from Best of the Lake Recap under the following categories:
- Best New Home Construction – 1 $mil to 2 mil
- (Modern Prairie)
- Best Custom Waterfront Home – $1 mil +
- (Mid Century Modern Lake Home)

Receiving these two awards was certainly an exciting and humbling experience for us. We are grateful to be ending the year on such a high note. We would like to thank our creative and hardworking staff and our clients for their trust and confidence in us. It has been an honor to design such beautiful homes that will be comfortable and have the space to create beautiful memories in. On that note, we would like to extended holiday greetings to everyone.
